While we carefully select shipping methods designed to protect your order, Mueller Chocolate Co cannot guarantee carrier transit times and is not responsible for delays caused by weather, carrier disruptions, mechanical failures, or circumstances beyond our control.
Shipping chocolate is a delicate task — and we take it very seriously.
At Mueller Chocolate Co., every order is packed with care to help ensure your chocolates arrive in the best possible condition, no matter the season. During warmer months or when shipping to warm-weather destinations, we use insulated packaging, ice packs, and expedited shipping methods as needed to protect your order.
Processing Times
Our chocolates are handcrafted fresh each weekday by skilled chocolatiers. Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, typically within 1–2 business days during non-holiday periods. During peak seasons, please allow additional time as we prioritize freshness and careful handling.
🚚 Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on destination, package weight, shipping method, and seasonal requirements. During warm weather, expedited shipping and insulated packaging may be required to help protect chocolate products during transit.
Shipping Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. Incorrect or incomplete addresses may result in delays, additional shipping charges, or failed delivery attempts.
Warm Weather Shipping
We do not ship on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to prevent packages from sitting in transit over the weekend.
During warmer months or to hot-weather destinations, orders must ship via one of the following methods:

UPS 2nd Day Air – includes insulation and ice packs (available for destinations within a 1–2 day transit time).

UPS Next Day Air – required for all states beyond a 2-day Ground delivery window (including Western and Southern regions).
Florida orders: Due to consistently high temperatures and humidity, all shipments to Florida are sent via 2-Day Air year-round.
Shipping Restrictions
- We cannot ship to P.O. Boxes — please provide a valid street address with any necessary suite or apartment number.

Weekend delivery: UPS may deliver on weekends in select ZIP codes. However, during warm weather, we may delay shipping to avoid weekend transit and ensure your chocolates arrive safely.

International shipping: Due to the perishable nature of our products, we currently ship only within the continental United States.
Delivery Responsibility
Customers are responsible for monitoring tracking information and promptly retrieving packages after delivery. Chocolate is a temperature-sensitive product and may be affected by prolonged exposure to heat, weather, animals, insects, or other outdoor conditions after delivery.
